Executive Committee

Andy Sutch, Chairman. Started life as a Geography teacher, but also looking after the Rugby and Cricket. He then joined Sport England finally working as Regional Director in London and with the Rugby Union up to the 2003 World Cup. He is presently Senior Executive at Business In Sport and Leisure, a lobby company for the commercial leisure Industry. He is Chairman of London Federation of Sport and Recreation, the voluntary sector sports forum in London. He has played school and club rugby for over 20 years, is a regular cyclist and last year qualified as an open water diver.

Nick Barnett, Vice Chairman. Nick has been involved with competitive swimming for the past ten years, he is Chairman of Teddington Swimming Club (TSC) and is currently helping them in a number of committee led initiatives. He headed the team that successfully gained Swim21 accreditation for TSC as a Skill Development Club in 2007.

Kenneth Chivers, Treasurer. Played soccer at non-league level with Woking, Melksham Town and Tetbury Town. Qualified Referee and Soccer Coach. Official of Weylands Sunday Youth League for a number of years and Honorary Vice President of Woking Referees Society. Joined Kew Association in early 80's and had been very involved in their move back into the Borough and the rebuilding of facilities at ham Playing Fields.

Francis Wetherall, Secretary. Frances ahs been involved in canoeing for over 30 years. She is a former international competitor having represented Great Britain at 7 World Championships and 2 Olympic Games. Since retiring from competition Frances has remained involved in the sport as administrator, organising events at both national and local levels.

Trevor Wetherall. Trevor has been a member of Richmond Canoe Club since 1968, originally racing himself to World Championship standard and, more recently coaching. Trevor has coached both juniors and seniors to top international standards and attended the 1984 Olympics as National Ladies Coach. He is currently Senior Club Coach and heavily involved with BCU Regional Development and Richmond's Competitive Edge.

Frank T. Perry. Frank has been involved in Martial Arts for over 45 years within the Richmond Borough. He opened the Busen Martial Arts centre over 20 years ago in Twickenham, which continues to thrive. He is a former Vice Chairman of the governing body of karate, as well as former Chairman of the Coaching Committee and Technical Committee.He is also a founder member of Richmond Sports Council and founder member of Sport Richmond.

Kevin Rice. Kevin is a Chartered Surveyor and runs his own property consultancy in the Hospitality sector.  A life long sportsman, he has played a wide variety of sports, now primarily cricket and is a Colts coach with Hampton Hill Cricket Club.  He was a Director/Trustee of Hampton Heated Open Air Pool for 12 years and most recently responsible for leading the team which delivered a #900,000 investment in two phases at the community facility.

Kate Sinfield. Kate is currently the 1st XV Captain of Harlequin Ladies, having played rugby for the club for 10 seasons. Throughout this time she has represented Middlesex at county level, South-East England at regional level, as well as being involved with National Develoment Squads. Kate was brought up in the borough of Richmond-Upon-Thames, and has represented several local clubs in a variety of sports since becoming involved at school. Kate is currently a PE teacher, having previously worked at Harlequins FC, Shene School and Cannons Health Club.
