information on our exciting Summer Events and latest top headline. *Richmond Volleyball celebrates prestigious CCPR award win* Richmond
Volleyball (clubmark 2 club) was crowned UK Sports Club of the Year (SCOTY) at
the CCPR (Central Council of Physical Recreation) award ceremony held at the
Grange Hotel (London) on Tuesday 5th May 2009. Huge congratulations and thanks
must go to all club volunteers, members and partners for making this
achievement possible. The night was also a triumph for volleyball, as this is
the first time that a Volleyball club has won this award. More

Divisions (28 teams)- Register now! Summer Events for YOUR diaries *2009 Richmond Summer League* Will
be returning again starting on Tuesday 2nd June to 28th
July – 9 weeks. It will be back at the popular ‘Old Deer Park’
location. In 2008 we had 70 registered players from all over South West
London. It is open to anyone- just turn up and play (no need to enter a
team) and play lots of matches. A weekly league update will be sent directly to
your mailbox after each game night. All Inclusive
for 9 Weeks - £15.00 (adult) & £10.00 (junior). More

*2009 4v4 Grand Slam Grass Series* Richmond
Volleyball 4v4 Grand Slam Grass Series is a series of four friendly, sociable
but competitive one day 4v4 tournaments held every other weekend during the
summer months in Richmond & Kingston parks. The 4v4 Grand Slam offers three
level of play for national, regional and local league players. Dates for
your diary = Sun 5th July, Sun 19th July, Sun 2nd
Aug, Sun 16th Aug. Team Entry cost is £15.00 per event or £50.00 for all four. Winning teams will win Apple iPod Shuffle for each

*2009 Richmond Volleyball International Festival* London's
fastest growing grass tournament is back. Held over August Bank Holiday weekend
(3 days) set in one of South West London's most prestigious sports and social
clubs- it promises to be an even bigger success and in hope to bring sunshine
we have already booked a Caribbean band. Dates for your diary = Sat 29th
August to Mon 31st August. To
enter a team(s) you will need to complete the entry application form and

JUNIOR dates for diaries *Premier League 4 Sport – Junior Clubs (start w/c 4th
May till mid July) Calling
all 11 to 16 year olds. In partnership with Fulham FC Community Trust, Richmond
Volleyball will be running five junior club sessions in 3 different boroughs
for boys and girls aged between 11 and 16. The sessions will be free and open
to any young person keen to start and develop an interest in the game, learning
from top coaches. The clubs will be at Tiffin Boys Schools, Chessington
Community College & Richard Challenor (London Borough of
Kingston-upon-Thames), London Oratory School (London Borough of Hammersmith and
Fulham) and at Epsom and Ewell High School (Surrey). More

*Junior Volleyball Development Centre (May to July)* The Richmond & Kingston Development Centre offers advanced
coaching for talented local juniors. Held at Tiffin Boys School on Saturday
mornings from 10am to 2pm, it welcomes young individuals keen to progress
within the sport. The current main focus of the centre is to prepare players
for London Youth Games and also develop elite junior squads for national

*2009 Junior Summer Camps (July and August)* Calling
all 8 to 17 year olds. We will be running two 5 day summer camps from 10am to
4pm at Richmond College (Twickenham) over the summer school holidays from Mon
19th to Fri 24th July (8 to 12) and from Mon 26th
July to 31st July (13 to 17). At fantastic value of £30.00
for the week take the opportunity to attend the one and only youth
volleyball camp in South London area with high quality CRB checked coaches. More

*South London Volleyball League 2009/2010 season* London’s fastest growing indoor league!
Looking for more chances to play volleyball in 2009/2010 season? Looking for a
fun, great value, sociable but yet competitive league? Currently we have
14 teams in two divisions playing on Monday evenings at Richmond College from
7-10pm. This will expand to 28 teams in 4 divisions with another central
location in Kingston for 2009/10 season. The deadline for submission of
