John Rees from Strawberry Hill Bowls Club commented that on there recent open day they had over 40 people attend and as a result have signed up 20 people for their course.

In Cambridge crew on Saturday will be Peter Marsland, who lived for many years on Trowlock Island in the borough. His father was captain and a star member of Kew Association Football Club in their great years of AFA Cup and League Championship glory.
Peter used to receive soccer coaching on a saturday morning at Kew under the watchfull eye of Ken Chivers before he took up rugby at Richmond RFC. We wish him luck in the race and will be wathcing out for him.

Hampton Athlete gains PBs representing GB
Local Hampton 16 year old athlete Ashley Bryant has just returned from Paris where he represented Great Britian and Northern Ireland Under 20 year old team in a combined event (mini decathlon) where he set Personal Bests in seven events and the team overall won the whole event.
Sport Richmond has regularly supported Ashley in his athletic career
